This exciting event is made possible through the generous sponsorship of Lewis Tree Service and the Davey Resource Group. Bring your family and friends for a delightful afternoon filled with crafts, activities, and outdoor games! Experience hands-on demonstrations on tree planting techniques, courtesy of the City’s Tree Division. Take home a free sapling to nurture and grow in your own yard. Kids can participate in a workshop hosted by Home Depot. The Fall River Public Library's Bookmobile will be present, offering a great selection of books to explore. A variety of food trucks will be available, providing delicious lunch options and sweet treats! Don't miss out on the opportunity to take home fabulous giveaways, available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. We can’t wait to celebrate Arbor Day with you!

The City of Fall River in collaboration with Mass Audubon are excited to announce Wings on the Watuppa Reservation: Birdwatching in the Bioreserve. This is a free event on Saturday, May 24th, at the Watuppa Reservation at 2929 Blossom Road, Fall River, MA. The event will be hosted in four timed sessions:Session 1: 8AMSession 2: 9AMSession 3: 10AMSession 4: 11AM Registration is required and space is limited.Binoculars and educational materials will be provided to registered participants. Free Trolley Transportation is provided from the Third Street parking lot (138 Third St, Fall River, MA 02721) please reserve space(s) using the link in your confirmation email. Parking is also available onsite. Please remember to wear supportive footwear and dress comfortably for the weather. This event will take attendees on the Boathouse Lane trail to the North Watuppa Pond, which is approximately 1 mile long. The Wattupa Reservation was once part of the nearby Wampanoag Reservation, this historically and ecologically significant land in the southeastern portion of the Bioreserve protected clean drinking water in North Watuppa Pound for City residents.
