Fall River needs to support and bolster its arts and culture community in order to spur revitalization efforts. That’s why the Fall River Arts and Culture Coalition (FRACC) was formed in March of 2019- to gather a group of stakeholders together around a common mission – Arts, Culture and Economic Prosperity for the City of Fall River.
FRACC is a committee of One SouthCoast Chamber and the Bristol County Chamber Foundation (501c3) is the fiscal agent for the Coalition. The Coalition has over 50 diverse members comprised of citizens committed to improving the lives of the people that live and work in the region. As stated, our goal is to unite and share resources to create a vibrant, inclusive and sustainable creative economy. It is important we clearly state our strong and collective opposition to the proposed public art policy and public art commission, currently under consideration by two committees of the Fall River City Council, the Ordinance Committee and the Committee on Economic Development and Tourism.
