Dyeing to Wear It: Dyeing for Fiber Art

This is an interactive workshop. Each participant creates a beautiful, versatile piece of wearable art while learning about the textile history of New England and around the world. The shows will take place on the fantail deck of the USS Massachusetts, an OUTDOOR SHOW. One is at 6:15 PM and one is at 9:00PM. Doors for the first show will open at 5:15 PM. Rain Date: In case of unsafe weather on Saturday, the show will be rescheduled to Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 6:15 PM. If the in-climate weather continues into Sunday 9/1/24 the event will be moved inside the Maritime Museum at the Battleship Cove in Fall River.  Ray Harrington (Conan, Hulu) is performing. Art and Jewelry Together Exhibition

Sharon Jussaume, one of the Fall River Arts and Culture Coalition’s (FRACC) Ignition Grant recipients, brings her vision to life! Discover the transformation of rocks into quality gems, along with the processes behind it. See jewelry pieces depicting the four seasons, each capturing the essence and beauty of nature. Be sure to check the exhibition from September 6th - September 28th in the Ignition Space at 44 Troy Street Unit 2, Fall River, MA. The Ignition Space will be open on Fridays from 4 pm - 8pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 pm - 5 pm. The Ignition Fund is supported by the TDI @my_tdi Creative Catalyst Grant Program, which is administered by Mass Development and funded by the Barr Foundation.
