Sharon Jussaume, a recipient of an Ignition Fund Grant, and the artist behind the "Jewelry and Art Together" Exhibition will host two free workshops! Immerse yourself in the world of artistry with the introduction of the revolutionary new painting technique, “Flow Art.” This innovative style brings a captivating blend of colors and textures, creating stunning visual masterpieces. Join us for an afternoon filled with creativity, beauty, and the magic of artistic transformation. Don’t miss out on this extraordinary event where art and gemstones converge to create an unforgettable experience! This event will be held from 1 pm to 3:30 pm on Saturday, September 14th and Saturday, September 21st, 1 pm - 3:30 pm. The Ignition Fund is supported by the TDI @my_tdi Creative Catalyst Grant Program, which is administered by Mass Development and funded by the Barr Foundation.

Magic the Gathering Meet-Up

Our monthly Magic: the Gathering group meets on the last Wednesday of each month.* Come play a few games in the world's most popular trading card game! Participants are invited to bring their own decks or build their own with a selection of the hundreds of cards we have at the library. Don't know how to play? We'll be glad to show you how! This program is intended for teens ages 12 to 18. No prior experience with the game is required to participate. We'll be meeting in the Fell Reading Room in the library. *If the last Wednesday of the month falls on a holiday, the meetup will be rescheduled, probably to the week before.
