Mad Science presents All About Animals!

Mad Science presents All About Animals!, introducing children to the amazing assortment of creatures inhabiting the animal kingdom! Children will learn about astounding creatures as they experiment with camouflage and get hands-on with with real tooth and claw replicas.The Animal Tracks Take-Home activity lets children create casts of animal tracks just like real naturalists! In case of rain, the event will be held in the Meeting Room.  Registration is required for this program as space and supplies are limited. Call the  Children's Room at 508-324-2700 ext. 4 beginning Friday, July 19 to reserve your child's spot. This program has been made possible through the generosity of the Fall River Women's Union. Norton City Pier Food Truck Fridays

The City of Fall River, Fall River Redevelopment Authority, and Viva Fall River are thrilled to announce Thomas Norton City Pier Food Truck Fridays! Food Truck Fridays will be held on the last Friday of June, July, and August from 4-8 p.m. at 600 Davol Street. Each month will host a different selection of food trucks.

Join us for these fantastic children’s events here at SoCo Art Labs, hosted by artist and author, Susan Drayton. This event, funded by a grant from the Fall River Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council is free for children. Each month's activity will be different but will all strive to strengthen children's motor and problem solving skills through planning and making their very own artwork, while also focusing on literacy and creativity. Teddy Bear Picnic & Storytime

Join us for the library's annual Teddy Bear Picnic where we celebrate America's best-loved stuffed animal--the Teddy Bear! Kids will enjoy stories, a craft, and a visit from the Teddy Bear Doctors! Take part in a teddy bear parade and participate in our teddy bear beauty contest! Families are invited to bring a blanket and a picnic lunch or snacks.
