Explore the steps these determined people used to produce fabric from raw fiber. Event supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Arts Council and the Fall River Cultural Council.

LumberJack Jr. Sessions (ages 10+ weekly)

Looking to get the kids off the screen & out of the "boredom" zone? Every Sunday we set aside our front area to allow for an alcohol free space for families with kids aged 10-17 to relAXE and bond over the fun sport of hatchet throwing. You and the kids will be given an overview of safety rules & "how to's" of hurling hatchets by one of our amazing throwing coaches. Then you will have 1-2 hours of fun in one of our throwing pits. Grab a pizza or some subs on your way in to round out your family time. Parents are always amazed at how the kids put their phones down and don't touch them the whole time they are here. Book a 1-hour for 2-4 throwers or a 2-hour for 5-10 throwers. Special reduced pricing for kids 10-15 years of age. No alcohol allowed parents, so leave the beers at home please. In Country : A Tour of Duty in the Vietnam War

This hands 🙌 n presentation will focus on the daily life of the combat infantryman during the Vietnam War. Topics of discussion will include tactics and strategies, how he lived in the field., weapons, morale problems etc. Equipment will Be displayed and audience will be able to handle it to get a feel of what it was like to carry such gear in combat.
