Over the course of almost 4 decades, 11 albums, countless memorable live shows and enough personal drama to fill a couple of Behind the Music episodes, this beloved band soared to heights few ever achieve while winning the hearts and minds of numerous critics, fans and peers in the process. After releasing 2 Indie albums in the 80s, The Jayhawks had become a driving force and inspiration behind the growing Americana movement in the early 1990s. Combining the talents of singer-songwriters Gary Louris and Mark Olson, The Jayhawks released their major label debut, the acclaimed Hollywood Town Hall (1992) on the Def American label. This was followed by Tomorrow the Green Grass (1995), which produced the alternative radio hit single “Blue.” The Jayhawks have made music in 4 different decades and are as vital now as they were in 1985. They definitely have earned their reputation as a true American treasure.

Join us for these fantastic children’s events here at SoCo Art Labs, hosted by artist and author, Susan Drayton. This event, funded by a grant from the Fall River Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council is free for children. Each month's activity will be different but will all strive to strengthen children's motor and problem solving skills through planning and making their very own artwork, while also focusing on literacy and creativity. Friday, November 1, 2024 $30 Advance | $33 Day of Show Doors 7pm | Show 8pm Hailed by Rolling Stone as "the-supergroup-you-need-to-know," Fantastic Cat released their irrefutably titled debut, The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat, to widespread acclaim in 2022. The collection earned the vocal-trading, instrument-swapping collective their national TV debut, sold out headline dates around the US and Europe, a performance at the Sundance Film Festival, and a song in the Paramount+ series Tulsa King. In 2023, the velvet-suited four-piece teamed up with all-star producer Butch Walker for a 50th anniversary take on “Band On The Run,” which prompted Paul McCartney (Wings, The Beatles) to question his entire life's work. Formed and led by drummer Tom Major in 1993 while on hiatus from touring with Rock legend Bo Diddley, Entrain has been blessed with a list of top tier musicians over the years. Among them and often joining Tom is lead singer/guitar wiz Brian Alex. Joining them is bassist M'Talewa, saxophonist/keys/percussionist Rob Loyot, saxophonist/percussionist Hilary Noble and Trombone/keys Lennie Peterson Veterans all, their collective resume includes stints with such diverse players as Bo Diddley, Carly Simon, Chuck Berry, Southside Johnny, James Mongomery, Gary Burton, and Blood, Sweat, and Tears. The Pajama Project is aimed at providing new pajamas to tots, tweens, teens, and entire families in need. We believe every person deserves a good night’s sleep in cozy pajamas, and with your support, we can make this a reality for many in our surrounding communities.
