UMass Dartmouth 2025 MFA Thesis Exhibition
The Ignition Space 44 Troy Street, Fall River, MA, United StatesThe UMass Dartmouth MFA Thesis Exhibition is a much anticipated and celebrated annual event showcasing the artwork of graduating Master of Fine Arts students from the College of Visual and Performing Arts. In 2025, the exhibition will take place in three locations from Saturday, April 5, to Sunday, April 27, all open to the public free of charge. The main exhibition is at The Ignition Space, with the satellite locations at New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park and The Art and Design Studios in Dartmouth.

Vernal Pool Explorer Hike at Copicut Woods
Copicut Woods Indian Town Rd., Fall River, United StatesWhat’s a vernal pool? During this family-friendly hike, you’ll learn about these ephemeral wonders and investigate how nature changes in the spring season. Vernal pool hikes are extra special at Copicut Woods, where you can look and listen for woodpeckers at field edges and warblers in the thickets. You’ll also wander along Shockley trail and, deeper into the woods, past brooks and giant boulders, rock outcrops, and cellar holes. Magnifying glasses and binoculars will be provided to best appreciate the wildflowers, tadpoles, and other signs of spring!
Bunny Trail: Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt
Battleship Cove 5 Water Street, Fall RiverJoin us at Battleship Cove Easter weekend, April 19-20, 2025, for an eggciting easter egg scavenger hunt. The Easter Bunny has hidden 12 large easter eggs all around the Battleship Massachusetts for you to find. You will be give a scavenger hunt paper to fill out the names of all the eggs and when completed bring it back to the gift shop when leaving for a prize. Scavenger hunt is free with the purchase of general admission tickets. Tickets can be purchased online or in person.
