The UMass Dartmouth MFA Thesis Exhibition is a much anticipated and celebrated annual event showcasing the artwork of graduating Master of Fine Arts students from the College of Visual and Performing Arts. In 2025, the exhibition will take place in three locations from Saturday, April 5, to Sunday, April 27, all open to the public free of charge. The main exhibition is at The Ignition Space, with the satellite locations at New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park and The Art and Design Studios in Dartmouth.
The Greater Fall River Art Association has Kids Art workshops taught by Mr. Ernie. For kids ages 6-9 years old we have Saturday morning and Sunday morning options. Adults only event - Our 3 hour Figure Drawing event provides an opportunity for artists interested in figure drawing to practice, and enhance their skills. The session will feature a live model who will move through 20 minute gestures, with small breaks. Artists are asked to bring their own drawing or painting supplies. Please note this session is for Adults only. Please respect the model and other artists.
