9th Annual Music of Michael Troy Concert

Sunday, November 17, 2024$30Doors 12:00pm | Show 1pm This year’s event is the 9th Annual Music of Michael Troy Concert that has served as the fundraiser for the Michael Troy Memorial Music Foundation a 501 C (3) Non Profit Charity.The concert will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 1 PM at the Narrows Center for the Arts. The 9th Annual Music of Michael Troy will be performed by top local and regional artists. There will be solo performances by Matt Borello, Johnny Botello, Ryan Connearney, Joanne Doherty, Sarah Soupirs and Chuck Williams as well as duos Monica Ambroziak Band, Redfish with Gary Fish and Steve Redfern, Louis Leeman with Jeri Karam Kozak, a trio Laureanno Bros. with Mike, Tom & Frank Laureanno and the Durfee Quintet featuring Matt Desmarais, Gary Bigelow, Tom Khoury, Justin Gallagher and Jason Newell. The Music of Michael Troy event is organized to carry on Michael's legacy of storytelling through music. They were, and are masters of reinterpreting other artist’s hit songs, and their effect on the soon to explode late 60’s “heavy metal” scene was undeniable.Now, the powerhouse vocals and keyboard flourishes of virtuoso organist Mark Stein, along with the fluid guitar explosions of Vinnie Martell, all anchored by the rhythm section of the legendary Carmine Appice on drums and Pete Bremy on bass, they create a sound so unique that it cannot be imitated.
