Magic: The Gathering Meetup

Our monthly Magic: the Gathering group meets on the last Wednesday of each month.* Come play a few games in the world's most popular trading card game! Participants are invited to bring their own decks or build their own with a selection of the hundreds of cards we have at the library. Don't know how to play? We'll be glad to show you how! This program is intended for teens ages 12 to 18. No prior experience with the game is required to participate. We'll be meeting in the Fell Reading Room in the library. *If the last Wednesday of the month falls on a holiday, the meetup will be rescheduled, probably to the week before. Please check our calendar to be sure.

Dive into this ancient divination tool and learn everything you need to know about casting and reading your own Runes! What we’ll be learning:A brief introduction of what Runes areThe Norse Mythology history of the RunesHow to cast your lotsHow to make your own tunesDifferent spreads you can useLearn the 24 Runes and their meanings, families, and pronunciations! Class will be $45 per person and everyone will leave with a folder of material to take with them and help bond with their Runes. We will also be practicing with each other in class so please bring a runes set with you or we will have some available for purchase or for you to practice with.
