Casting: 2 men, 2 women: age around 35
Veronique Novak:
She seems generous and accommodating but she’s overly judgmental and wants to instill a sense of shame in the Raleighs believing her methods of parenting are superior to theirs. Throughout she still attempts to maintain her crumbling facade of civility.
Michael Novak:
Michel seems eager to create peace between the two boys and perhaps even bond with the Raleighs. Eventually he reveals his uncouth nature and denounces child-raising as a wasteful, grueling experience.
Annette Raleigh:
On the brink of a panic attack. She wants resolution and believes at first that communication can fix the situation. But the pressures of motherhood and household have eroded her self-confidence which finally end in her losing control.
Alan Raleigh:
A high-powered pharmaceuticals lawyer. He pretends to be invested in the whole discussion on parenting but frequently interrupts their meeting by talking on his cell phone.
