Babysitting Workshop

Has your teen been wanting to try working as a babysitter? This workshop introduces pre-teens/teens to all aspects of babysitting. Learn how to: perform first aid and choke saving techniques, diapering and feeding techniques, how to handle bedtime issues, door/telephone answering techniques and accident/fire prevention. A variety of teaching methods will be implemented including active discussion and role playing.
*All participants in this program will get a certificate of completion that you can use to advertise your training to prospective families that may want to hire you. Participants must attend the entire class to get the certification.
*Please bring a water bottle and snack if you like.
Who: Pre-Teens/Teens (ages 11-15)
Place: Town Hall Annex Gym, 856 Main Rd., Westport, MA
(Please park in the back and enter through back gym door.)
