Guns For Groceries
November 23 @ 9:30am-12:30pm
Blessed Trinity Church
The Guns for Groceries campaign, started in 1998 by Rev. Dr. Robert Lawrence, aims to make Fall River and New Bedford safer by removing unwanted guns from the community. Bring firearms, knives, BB/pellet guns, or ammo to designated locations for grocery gift cards ($100 for handguns, $75 for long guns) and Domino’s Pizza certificates. Free gun locks will also be available. Sponsored by local law enforcement, community organizations, and churches, all collected guns will be melted down.
For more information, contact Fr. Rob Nemkovich at 508-789-5515.
