Workforce Pipeline & Retention Initiative Program Scholarship Opportunity
Through funds awarded to us by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services , HealthFirst Family Care Center is offering medical and dental assistant trainings, as well as a medical interpreting program (must be fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish) to anyone with a high school diploma or GED who has a genuine interest in seeking employment in the field of medicine. Participants appreciate the ease of completing the course work virtually from home and having our community health center as a location to complete an internship.
We require a 2-year employment commitment at HealthFirst for anyone that participates in the program.
If interested, contact De-Anne Machado at 508-536-3598 or email at dmachado@healthfirstfr.org.
