Enjoy not just one, but TWO very special storytimes featuring some visitors from the North Pole! On December 3rd, Santa himself will be the guest reader for a holiday storytime featuring an easy-to-make holiday craft and pictures with Santa. Children are invited to bring along their Christmas wish list to give to Santa as well! Then, on December 10th, Mrs. Claus will visit the library to share some of her favorite holiday stories and songs with all her young fans! An easy-to-make holiday craft will follow the event. Bring along your Christmas wish list and Mrs. Claus will make sure Santa receives it! Families are invited to attend either or both of these events. Registration is not required.

Meet the Grinch!

Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MA

For one very special night only, the Grinch will descend from his cave at the top of Mount Crumpit to visit all his adoring fans at the Fall River Public Library for "Grinch Night!" This meet and greet will include the Grinch posing for pictures and even handing out crafts for all who shake his grinchy, green hand! This program is generously sponsored by Debbie and Richard Danner.

Winter Decoupage Vase Workshop

Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MA

Create a beautiful and festive winter holiday vase using paint, glitter, and decoupage techniques. We will paint repurposed jars, bottles, and vases for a "wintry" effect, then use crumpled tissue, torn paper, and other objects to create our own designs, and finish the project with ribbons, glitter, and other add-ons to make each vase unique! This workshop is led by Stephanie from the Craftyish Shop. All materials are free! This series is sponsored by the Friends of the Fall River Public Library.  Materials are limited, so registration is required. Peppermint Playdough Workshop

Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MA

Join us for a fun, hands-on craft night as we make peppermint playdough in the library's Meeting Room! This delightful, no-bake activity is perfect for kids and families to enjoy together. Create, shape, and play with your own festive dough, and take your creations home. All materials will be provided. Come for the fun and leave with a peppermint-scented masterpiece! This event is not ideal for children with gluten or peppermint allergies. Due to limited supplies, registration is required for this event starting Wednesday, December 11th.
