Get ready to experience Fall River like never before with the unveiling of the highly anticipated Fall River Trolley and Fall River Water Taxi!

Fall River City Trolley

The Fall River Trolley is a new transportation initiative aimed at enhancing city exploration and connectivity with its convenient schedule, interactive signage, and self-guided audio tours

When does it run?

Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 4pm starting June 1st. The Trolley route takes approximately one hour to complete and is a hop-on, hop-off service.

Where does it stop?

The Fall River Trolley boasts 12 carefully selected stops strategically placed throughout the city, each marked with custom-designed signage. These signs not only showcase area maps but also highlight key attractions of interest, allowing riders to seamlessly navigate and immerse themselves in the city’s rich tapestry. QR codes featured on the signage provide instant access to a user-friendly ticketing portal and a real-time tracking app, ensuring convenience at every turn.

Where can I get more information on the attractions and stops on the trolley loop?

If you choose to stay on the trolley for the entire loop, you will hear an audio tour that provides information onall the stops. If you want to delve in deeper to any of the stops, disembark and scan the QR code on the trolley sign for a self-guided audio tour that will take you on a walk around the neighborhood and provide additional facts and points of interest.

Each Trolley Stop sign also features a QR code and URL that directs users to custom landing pages dedicated to the different areas, where visitors can delve into historical timelines, discover hidden gems, and explore an array of dining and entertainment options.

Is there a tracker so I know when the Trolley is arriving at a Stop?

Yes! With the BusWhere tracking service you will be able to do the following:

  • See the location of the Trolley on the map in real-time
  • View ETAs for any stop along the route so you know when to meet the Trolley
  • View real-time announcements about any potential delays or schedule changes

How much does it cost?

Standard fare for the regularly scheduled trolley service is $5.00 per adult and $2 per child under 12. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Tickets are available for purchase here.

As part of a limited-time pilot program to celebrate the launch of the trolley, children under 12 can ride the trolley for free provided they are accompanied by an adult. Please note that you must still hold your child’s spot by reserving a free ticket.

Please note that the trolley experience is completely cashless – our drivers do not carry cash and cannot accept cash ticket payments or make change. Trolley fare must either be purchased online prior to boarding or purchased upon boarding using a QR code-compatible smartphone and a credit or debit card.

Fall River Water Taxi

Hop aboard the Fall River Water Taxi and experience the city like you never have before. Maximum capacity of the Water Taxi is 6.

When does it run?

Will run Memorial day – Labor Day
Thursday – Sunday from 12PM – 7PM

Where does it stop? What is the schedule?

1. The Tipsy Seagull – on the hour
2. Bicentennial Park – 15 minutes past the hour
3. Senator Thomas Norton City Pier – 30 minutes past the hour
4. Pier 52 – 45 minutes past the hour

How much does it cost? Where do I get tickets?

Tickets are available for purchase on the Water Taxi. Cost: $3.00 per ride, per person. Cash or credit accepted. 

Round trips will not be available, you must hop on and hop off.
