Fall River’s riverside boardwalk extends from Bicentennial Park to Battleship Cove and provides ample space for picnics, events, and leisure activities.
In the middle of the boardwalk sits floating docks and a beautiful 4-acre piece of green space that juts out into the River – Senator Thomas Norton City Pier, which opened in 2022. Named after a longtime state legislator and military veteran and life-long Fall River resident, this beautiful green space is a popular place for recreation and leisure activities and also hosts many community events, including Fall River Kite Night and the annual Fall River 4th of July celebration.
The view are unmatched and the breeze from the Taunton River provides refreshment on even the hottest summer day.
