Verizon’s Small Business Digital Ready Program is helping small business owners access a wealth of knowledge, tools, and resources
LISC’s longstanding partnership with Verizon is connecting small business owners to key resources, including:
Courses: Find over 50 courses covering various topics such as, branding, communications strategy, financing your business or ensuring cybersecurity
Live Coaching: Live coaching sessions (with a real human!) to help you navigate the digital landscape
Networking: Connect with other business owners, because we’re all in this together.
Grants: Active users who complete at least two resources on the platform are eligible to apply for national $10,000 grants
Hablas Español? Verizon’s Small Business Digital Ready Program has a dedicated Spanish-language site, with courses exclusively in Spanish.
SBA recently announced $3 million in new funding under the Cybersecurity for Small Businesses Pilot Program. Three grants will be awarded to state agencies to provide training, counseling, and other tailored cybersecurity services for startups and emerging entrepreneurs. Applications will be accepted from July 2-August 2, and applicants can apply for awards ranging from $1,000,000 to $1,045,000 for a performance period of 24 months ending September 2026.

The Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts and the Urban League of Springfield have partnered with Interise to offer NextStage MBE, a program for established small business owners powered by the award-winning Interise curriculum.
Interise’s proven model for the past 20 years, has worked to create an inclusive economy by supporting small businesses that are in low-income communities or are minority- or women-owned. The program has over 9,500 graduates, employing 150,000+ people, has been offered in more than 85 markets, and has helped businesses grow by an amazing average annual revenue growth of 61%!
