FALL RIVER — When it comes to food, more is always better.
So the growing lineup of eateries at this third annual Fall River Restaurant Week — its biggest showing yet — is a delightful sight for any local foodie hungry for a variety of options for unique cuisine.
If you’re looking for some fun, new places or plates to try, consider your late-March dinner plans made.
Starting Friday, March 15, a total of 24 city eateries will be serving up a smorgasbord of dining experiences at affordable prices during the 10-day gastronomic journey.
When is Fall River Restaurant Week?
Organized by the tourism organization Viva Fall River, Fall River Restaurant Week stretches across two weekends — running Friday, March 15, through Sunday, March 24 — and is meant to offer folks a taste of Fall River’s diverse culinary scene.
The event debuted with 12 participating eateries, almost doubling to 21 last year, and this year they’ve topped that with two dozen restaurants featuring food from around the world.

Which Fall River restaurants are taking part?
The 2024 roster runs the gamut, from bakeries and cafes, to quick bites, to both casual and fine dining establishments with menus of American, Portuguese, southern barbecue, Asian street food, Latin American and gluten-free fare.
Viva Fall River announced the official dates for this year’s event back in January with a callout for local restaurants interested in taking part.
